Yvaine's background was fairly typical for a Waterelf, save that her mother is a great matriarch of her kind.
Tragedy struck the Waterelf when she was kidnapped from her homeland and taken aboard a ship for cruel and abusive purposes by a group of rogue Soldiers of the Order Imperial. Salvation came to her in the form of Tristan Thorn, who rescued her but could not rescue himself from his fellow sailors.
She thought him lost......but in a flash of light, she has come to find that he lives, though changed from what he once was. Now she travels reluctantly beside a group of misfits, using her healing for the aid of the party itself.
