Verun'kar Soldier

Volunteer soldiers of the Demon Military, these soldiers are treated much better than Conscripted, or Dle'vir, Soldiers, and normally are "Mentored" by a higher ranking officer.

It is not uncommon to see officers hanging around with Verun'kar Soldiers and talking with them over a meal or a drink. Indeed, this causes many, if not all, of the youth in the Demon Empire to volunteer as soldiers, less they be conscripted later.

Verun'kar Soldiers have an advantage over the Conscripted brothers in that their armor is normally of higher quality than Conscripted soldiers.

Ability: Pay: Receive 100 gold every 2 days. If you do not pick up your money from a Barracks in a demon town, it accumulates at a rate of 100 gold every week.

+1 Damage when attacking something another Verun'kar Soldier is attacking
+10 Damage against large foes (Ogres, giants, Dragons)
+5 feet per level running range in combat
