Doom of Destiny's End RPG

Darkelves

Picture
Darkelves prefer the darkness of caves to the light of day, living most of their lives in massive underground cities. Preferring stealth to a frontal attack, most Darkelves have the techniques of a thief and movements of an assassin.

Darkelf assassins are the best in the world, and using their Nightwalker skill, almost untraceable.

All Darkelves are born with the ability to Nightwalk, a special feat that allows them to step into one shadow (Even their own) and exit any shadow that they could see within 5 meters. More powerful Darkelves can extend this range, and some can even move to shadows unseen by the naked eyes.

Darkelves have fought long and hard against the Mountainelves, whose mining operations continuously cause caves and tunnels created by the Darkelves to collapse, and also have their hands full facing the "Mll'rezar", a race of sentient mole-men that attempt to steal the riches of the Darkelf capital, Nightwind.

Darkelves are richer than most elves, having the riches of the deeps at their fingertips. Darkelves gather jewels, and trade them for the resources needed to survive underground. Most Darkelves that are not assassins are either traders or jewelers, the finest being in Nightwind itself.
