Elves
One of the newer races of Jandio, Elves only arrived fifteen millenia ago. With little hesitation, they settled the lands to the northeast, naming it the "Liire Dumar", or "Elvin Domain". Their legacy continued to spread until it came to the human lands, Cynadar, at the southern area of the Myoon Mountain range.
At first, the two races got along well, trading and establishing a mutually beneficial relationship, with the elves learning the human's language quickly. The Elves, while hardly different from humans, still have many cosmetic features that stand them apart from simple humans, the most noticeable being their pointed ears.
However, this peace was not to last. Soon, the Demons came, just as the Elves did, and began their conquest of power. Using their superior strength and numbers, they enslaved most of the elves.
Only with the help of the newly-formed Order of the Golden Soul where the elves freed and the demons forced back into the northwest, past another branch of the Myoon mountain range.
With the death of their Emperor, however, the Demons soon elected one that decided for a peaceful life with the other races, and soon the peace returned, with only a few skirmishes occurring here and there in the mountains over land rights.
Elves are dispersed into five clans, each with their own strengths and purpose in the community. However, some of these clans, such as the Mountainelves and the Darkelves, fight almost continuously, causing the lands of the Elvin Domain to be stained by fresh blood every so often.
